The Grand Designs Live 2024 Expo is currently (as the time of writing) being held at the London ExCeL centre and we had the fortune to attend during the opening weekend.
Promoting Quality Homes
Hopefully you are just as much a fan of the television series as we are - being sincerely passionate about property and quality homes - and that you will manage to visit the live event before it closes. You may not be the next aspiring house builder with superb plans to craft your own home from the foundations up, but the expo also consists of loads of great exhibitors, new technological products and inspiring seminar talks for all and sundry. If you are looking for sustainable ideas to furnish, refurbish or renovate your current home, we would encourage you to take a look at what the expo has to offer.
Grand Designs Live 2024 is expecting 158,000 of us property enthusiasts, to grace the London ExCeL centre between 4 May - 12 May 2024, to see and experience the range of new and innovative products for the modern, sustainable home. The event is structured around 4 zones, Grand Build, Grand Kitchens and Bathrooms, Grand Interiors and Grand Gardens.
GRAND HOUSE
For the first time, Grand Designs Live are showcasing the "Grand House," a literal house built in the middle of the expo. The Grand House is the first thing that visitors see when coming through the entry corridor, and it contains the latest innovative technologies and designs. In contrast, one of my other favourite exhibitions was Tiny House Pro. 26.7 m2 of minimalist but chic living, fully transportable and road registrable. Like we said, there was something there fore everyone!
